Glad to see other people own these. I know of 6 of these tractors in the country. I helped get two of those running through another forum.

yeah my husband is trying to restore his gt11 so hopefully this winter he can right now he is looking for a new steering wheel and a carburator know any tips be glad to to listen

The carb on these is pretty simple. They are how ever a pain to keep clean and they are real touchy when it comes to tuning. In a week or two I can guide you through the carb tear down when I get around to doing mine. I do have a copy of the owners manual for the tractor I can email you if you like. It is real helpful in showing where what goes and bolt sizes and what not.

my husband is wanting to know if you could find a rebuilt kit for the engine or not? but if you could send us the copy of the owner manual that would be great ! he finally got a steering wheel now it's coming along good and also some attachments to it now would like to run across a box scraper he would be happy . ps the engine that was in the tractor is a briggs 11hp horizontal 252417

I found a Gasket set for your engine.

Now for the actual rebuild kit with new bearings, rod, and piston I have not had any luck finding one. When I do I will let you know.

If anyone has a manual for a gt11 varidrive I would love to get a copy. Just found one of these units and bought it for $75. It seems to be complete and in excellent shape. The deck is off and needs repair but the tractor proper is in good shape. I don't know much about these units so a manual would be helpful. my email is rbettge at yahoo dot com. Wow!! These are so quite garden tractors. You know, I also purchased garden tractor from Honda lawn mowers Atlanta dealer. It is a great product and store dealer provides me 5 years free service as well.
