Craftsman TV Commercials
I've noticed the Craftsman Riding Mower commercials on tv lately and there claims too have the best turning radius of any tractor on the market, they claim Craftsman's Turn Tight technology yard tractor lets you cut more closely around landscape obstacles and maneuver more easily with the best in class turning radius at 8". Craftsman alone brings you this tightest turning yard tractor in the market. I find that really funny and wonder if it's not somewhat false advertising on Sears part when you consider that Cub Cadet with there iSeries actually has the the best turning radius of any tractor on the market.
Re: Craftsman TV Commercials
I have herd that certain Craftsmen tractors are made by MTD. MTD owns Cub Cadet. This has me thinking that some of Cubs technology is getting used on the Craftsmen tractors.

American Yard Products, which is owned by Husqvarna, makes lawn tractors branded as Craftsman, Husqvarna or Poulan. Toro also outsources its residential lawn tractors to MTD. The rumor is Some of the craftsman tractors have been made by MTD and Murray, I'll have to do some research and find out. Got me wondering now
Re: Craftsman TV Commercials
I forgot about AYP products. These newer tractors look the same. Murray is now owned by Briggs and Stratton. You are forgetting the AYP made Dixon garden tractor as well.

Re: Craftsman TV Commercials
I know that Craftsman sells the 33" Walk behind and it's a different color Cub Cadet so my guess would be that there are a few others that are craftsmen as well. The Cub Cadet zero turn mowers are the same as the Lesco Z-Two. Don't get confused by the Z-Two's green color. While Lesco’s main business is fertilizer, it resells the Cub Cadet mower under the Lesco brand name and a green coat of paint.
Now if you plan on buying a Lesco Z-Two mower, Lesco has been bought out by John Deere Landscapes, but many stores no longer sell mowers or do repairs. They are focusing on just selling chemicals and landscape materials. Parts availability and service could be an issue. I guess you could take the thing to Cub Cadet for service. And No I didn't know AYP made Dixon mowers.

Well Dixon still makes their own zero turn mowers but has farmed out the construction of there garden tractors.
The Lesco dealers must not of had good luck selling mowers around here because there is just not that many around.
