Echo U- Turn Empty Echo U- Turn

Post by Admin Sun Apr 03, 2011 12:13 pm

I've read a lot of reviews on the U-turn and it seams a lot of people are not happy with the way it works. Well we used the Echo U-Turn for a couple of days and I can really say for me it seems to work well, it loads without problems and feeds line equally as well. When I purchased the U-turn they told me at the time it would hold 23 ft. of line and I think that's where people may be running into problems, trying to load the thing to the max. I loaded it with only 15 ft .095 Echo line and at that point it works very well, next test will be .105 Gator line. Question Just a side note for you guys that like to run Trimmers wide open, This U-turn head will only run a maximum of 10,000 RPM so if your a 12.500 RPM Stihl Owner it wouldn't be a good idea. No

I like the Speed-Feed head on my Echo SRM-225. I only load maybe 6 feet of string into it even though it can hold more.
